Miguel Perez was born in one of the most creative places in the world, Key West, Florida. Growing up surrounded by stacks of his parent's records he was influenced by many types of music. In high school he listened to a steady stream of 90's hiphop and 60's rock before becoming heavily influenced by electronic music. During his college years Miguel started experimenting with recording and producing music. Around this same time he started performing as a hiphop artist doing open mics and sitting in with bands. In 2010 Miguel combined the music he loved and his passion for performing to create his first band, Con Leche. This sparked a life-long love for music and performing. Miguel's live shows feature original music and unique renditions of cover songs. He learned to play live music in the best bars in Key West -- Sloppy Joe's, The Green Parrot, Island Dogs, The Original Margaritaville, Salute! On The Beach, The Sunset Pier, and Blue Heaven Restaurant. He has opened for David Shaw (Revivalists), Donovan Frankenwreiter, G-Love & The Special Sauce and Rusted Root. Off the stage Miguel produces jingles, audio branding and custom music for businesses across the country.
